This is part of our canine farm team. Jesse, Sophie and Twig the border collie.  The fourth member is Gnochi, the Maremma, our livestock guardian.

Our Business

Our goal is for the sheep to support themselves and help us have a healthy sustainable lifestyle.  Our wool, meat and breeding stock are among the best available and we are proud to be able to offer them to the community.

Who We Are

We started raising sheep in 2003 because Rachel loves to weave and Andy dislikes to mow.  We both love lamb and when we decided to live a a more self sufficient lifestyle we knew sheep were for us. 

Rachel is a classically trained chef of 20 years with a passion for animals and fiber.  She is studying plant medicine for the family and the livestock.  In addition to the farm, Rachel makes wedding cakes with all natural ingredients and eggs from her hens.  You can visit her cake site!

Andy is a carpenter and a jack of most trades.  He can build something from nothing and is the master of the quick fix.  He does the shearing and is the muscle on the farm.
